We are pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Winter Club Early Childhood Programs. The Preschool has been a very important part of the Winter Club tradition for over fifty years.  All of our classes offer children an environment in which they can grow and thrive. Our philosophy embraces the idea that children learn by doing. We present opportunities and materials that are fun and interesting for our youngest students, yet challenging and stimulating for our older students. Our goals support this philosophy:

1. To provide a safe, warm, positive environment in which a child can develop a strong and healthy self-concept.
2. To provide a social environment in which a child can learn to interact with other children in a positive, caring way.
3. To develop the ability to observe, explore, and problem-solve.
4. To provide a learning environment in which a child can learn basic readiness skills and concepts.
5. To build on a child's natural curiosity of the living world around them.
6. To ensure that a child is ready intellectually, socially, and emotionally to begin a kindergarten program.
